creative marriage proposals

Here are some creative marriage proposals you could use to make that moment one she'd remember for life.

Book of Memories

If you have been dating for some time or at least have known each other long enough, you probably would have a collection of photos taken on outings, gatherings, dates or private moments you have spent together.

If not, then do some prep work.

The next time you meet, bring along a camera. If possible, go to places which mean something to both of you. Have fun, take as many photos as possible.

Once you have a collection of photos, you are all set.

Get a hole puncher and a pretty ribbon.

Get a stack of paper, all in the same size. You could use colored papers or fancy papers, or you could use plain printer paper.

Arrange the photos on a work area or table as you plan out the story you want to tell. You could try writing the story of how you met, how your love developed and so forth, or something raunchier.

Decide on how many pieces of paper you need and punch holes on them for fastening them together later. The photos go on only 1 side of each paper. That means, when you open the book, 1 page has photos, the page facing it does not have any photos.

Now use double sided tape and arrange the photos on each sheet of paper. Put them only on 1 side of the paper. The back of the paper can be used for your commentary of the next page. Don't put the photos on both sides of the paper because if you do that, the photos from both sides of the paper would stick to each other, ruining them.

Now write your commentary or story on each page facing the photos.

End your commentary with the words: will you marry me?

Once your story is complete, bind it into the book.

Stack the papers together. Design an attractive front cover for your book.

Thread the ribbon through the holes and tie the ribbon to fasten the pages together.

That is your book of love.

When the time is right, present your book to her. Keep your engagement ring ready, or you could shop for a ring only if she accepts your proposal.

Go through the book with her.

When she comes to the final page, go on one knee and propose to her.

Good luck.

Your work of art

Are you good at wood work or pottery? Make something for her, with beautiful, intricate designs. Something she likes and would use. On it, maybe at the bottom, where commercial items would have the manufacturer or brandname on it, put the words : will you marry me?

As she examines your work of art, she should see those words. Go on one knee and propose to her there and then.

Our Song

Do you have a special song? Something you both love or which has a special meaning to you?

Use that melody, change the lyrics.

Rewrite the lyrics of that song to reflect your feelings for her. Write about your relationship.

Sing to her your new song. At the end of your song, go on one knee and propose to her.
